About Me

About Me

I was born in Lebanon and I live around the world where my husband’s job take me. My home base is between Helsinki, Finland and Lebanon and Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates, where I currently work.
I hold a BA in International Policy Studies from Monterey Institute of International Studies, now known as Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, California, USA and I am a multi-linguist, with cross-cultural communications skills.
I’ve spent the last 30 years working in between United Nations Offices in public Information and Semi-Government/Government upper management positions as Executive Assistant.
I very much enjoy discovering new countries and learning about other people and cultures and heritage, climbing mountains and Nordic Walking (I am also a certified INWA Nordic Walking Instructor).
Travelling also inspired me to bring out my artistic talents in calligraphy, singing (my natural voice gift from God الله سبحانه تعالى)), and adventure inherited from my Grandfathers and father.
I climbed my first mountain, Mount Toubkal, second highest summit in Marrakesh, Morocco in October 2013 and then reached the highest summit in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania at an altitude of (5895m) in March 2018 and, ever since then, mountains keep calling, to attempt in which ever mountainous countries I happen to live in, to reach its highest summit.
For me age has no limits, it’s my mind and mountains that drives me to attempt adventurous climbs, while enjoying the surrounding biodiversity of flora and fauna and meeting indigenous people and sampling their local cuisine, whenever possible, and I am always open to promote, through my climbs charity and sustainable development projects.
After Kilimanjaro, Tanzania in March 2018, I’ve been dreaming, ever since, of climbing other from the 7 Summits of the 7 Continents, while enjoying outdoors hiking and trekking in Biodiversity Cultural Heritage terrains with (rainforests, mangroves, flora and fauna deserts and snowy mountains in various destinations around the world.)
